Eyelash Extensions

HYBRID

Hybrid lash extensions is a technique in which both single and fans of of synthetic eyelashes are used to create a fluffy lash look. this can be tailored to each individual. We have a range of various lengths and curls which your lash tech can recommend what will suit your eye shape. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. Hybrid extensions are our most popular variant of lash extensions as they are perfect for special occasions or for day to day wear.

Learn more about hybrid lashes

Danielle is our lash queen, she carefully hand makes each fan and can create a gorgeous set relatively quick in comparison to other salons. This is due to her extensive list of regular lash clients. She has also attended additional courses on lash mapping and advanced pinching techniques.

No matter what size or style you choose, lash extensions make your lashes look thicker, fuller and longer which makes your eyes look wider and more dramatic. Furthermore, they save time as there is no longer any need for the curling of eyelashes and application of mascara.

They are individual extensions made from a synthetic material that mimics your existing eyelash texture. We DO NOT use any mink lash extensions.

How do the lashes bond with your real lashes?

A special black bonding agent is applied to each individual extension and then adhered to your existing lashes one by one, so the process does take a while longer than attaching strip lashes. The extensions look completely natural because the bond created is flexible and strong. The extensions are weightless, so you don’t feel their presence.

How long to hybrid lashes last?

Eyelashes follow a growth cycle of between 3 and 6 weeks, and when your natural eyelash falls out, the extension falls out with it.

Infills are needed regularly every 10 to 14 days, to keep your lashes looking natural and full if they are intended for long term wear. If you are only having the extensions applied for a special occasion like a wedding, you can have them removed professionally by your lash technician after a few days or weeks.

Longevity also depends on what style of lash you go for, the longer the lash extension, the weightier they are on the natural lash which can mean they fall out quicker. So please bare this in mind when choosing your length. Discuss what you look want to achieve with your lash tech as she will be able to provide recommendations.

How do you care for your lashes

Semi-permanent eyelash extensions are easy to look after. You should not get the lashes wet or expose them to heat for 24 hours after application as this is when the adhesive is still settling.

Do not use any oil-based make up remover or creams on them, as these can make the adhesive loosen and the extensions will fall off. This also includes the use of mascara or eyeshadow creams that can also contain oils.

Proper cleaning of the lashes is highly recommended to increase longevity. Your lash tach will provide you with a lash wand after your treatment-to clean your lashes, use a foaming cleanser and comb this through the lashes as this will remove any natural oils/debris from the day.

Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a towel. You can dry your lashes using the cool setting on a hairdryer if you wish.

Make sure you comb through your lashes each morning.

Rubbing your eyes is also not recommended, as the extensions can loosen and fall off or break.

Other than those precautions, your extensions are care-free.
